It is among the most significant museums of Turkey, in which the civilitions of the history of Bursa is exibited. Bursa Archaeological Museum established as Muze-i Humayun Bursa Archaeological Museumin Men�s High School in 1904 in 1972 moved to its own building built within Resat Oyali K�lt�rpark with an understanding of the modern museum has begun to serve. Archaeological Museum contains works belonging to other cultures in Anatolia as well as the works dated back to BC 8.cc to the until the end of the Byzantine period periods found in the Bithynia and Mysia regions, work, The museum has four rooms and an open exhibition area. In addition to the tombs, in Bursa and its environment, with various architectural pieces are exhibited in the museum, There are more than 25 thousand works within the museum and around 2 thousand of them are exhibited.
Courthouse Building was built in 1926 in the face of the Governor�s Office Building, then it was restored by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in 2004 and was opened as a the city museum. This building was built by architect Ayverdi Ekrem Hakki Bey Kemalettin. A unique architectural style of the building to the basement is a total of three floors. The date in the basement of craftsmen and artisans in Bursaexhibits are located. Bursa�s traditional commercial life in the history of the street Tradesmen Auriga, Nalbant, saddle, tinker, carpenter, original decor and trades are animated. On the ground flor,the history of Bursa is told, starting from the archaeological period to the present history of the city.This floor also has Cafeteria and sales units. In the upstairs,there is a conference room, administrative departments, where tere is the city�s data processing room. This mansion was bui lt by Miralay Mehmet at the end of the 19.cc. It is on the �ekirge street, and it was bought by the mayor of that time,Hasan Sami and was given Ataturk as a present when he came to Bursa.Then, Ataturk inhabited and usual ly had meetings in that house whenever he came to Bursa. In 20th February he presented his thanks in his letter to the mayor, Neset Kiper, for the affection and commitment to the people of Bursa aganist him. Atat�rk, tel ls that he donated his mansion, which was a gift from the people of Bursa,to the Municipal ity of Bursa with shares in Bursa �el ik Palas. After the death of Atat�rk Bursa Atat�rk Pavilion became a part of Celik Palas Hotel as the Pension Fund. So as to construct in 1965, the Atat�rk Museum was taken for repair. After repair,it was transferred to the Ministry of Education. then, the mansion was opened to visitors in the 50th anniversary in (October 29, 1973) as the Atat�rk Museum. mansion was bui lt under the inf luence of 19th century French architectural style. Balconies, eaves and pediment akroter ler , are seen as the of the or iginal sample of f ine wood craftsmanship. The pavi l ion was bui lt from stone and br ick. In a large garden, Bursa Atat�rk Pavi l ion has 3 f loors with roof . In the hal l and rooms in the f i rst f loor , used by Atat�rk, Atat�rk photos and articles are exhibited. On the second f loor ,tere are Atat�rk�s bedroom and a bedroom opened to the aide room, study rooms and multi-purpose hal l used as a greenhouse and service locations. This roof is divided as Atat�rk penthouse. In the eastern part of the garden,there is a pergola of which inter ior side and roof is adorned with a pen. Bursa Atat�rk Mansion adorns Bursa as an outstanding example of civic architecture in the last per iod.
The first Ottoman madrasa which is one of the Green Medrese, with the name sultanas and �elebi Mehmed is called also.It has the appearance of Anatolian Seljuk open courtyard (with iwan). The madrasa was built between the years 1414-1424 by Architect Haci Pasa Ivaz. Many famous scholars trained in this madrasa. It was completed after Sultan�s sudden death. In the South is there a classroom high open iwan. Since 975, as operating the Turkish Islamic Art Museum; metals, ceramics, wood, processing, weapons, manuscripts and books, Islamic coins, Islamic inscriptions and tombstones with varioussitli ethnographic works are exhibited. Madrasas in the early 2000s, has passed a major repair. It is located in the south of the Sultan�s Pavilion and Temenyeri on the slopes of Uludag was built for hunting in 1859 as a hunting lodge for Sultan was Abd�lmecit. In 1844 Sultan Ahmet, in 1862 Sultan Abd�laziz, in 1902 5.Mehmet (Sultan Resad) inhabited in this pavilion. Atat�rk, apart from his offcial meetings, stayed in this mansion, for four times for a short time. Bursa Governor Mehmet Salih had this pavilion built in nineteen days. The architecture of the French style mansion is French style. Decorations of the mansion have features of the 19th century. Ceiling ornaments, Bursa looking panorama dominated the garden, period rooms refecting the original articles and Atat�rk room has drawn the attention of visitors. It was built by French style. It is known that the governor had this pavilion built in 19 days.The tournaments in the pavilion has the features of 19 cc. The visitors usually show great interest in the garden which has panoramic wiev and orijinal furnitures that refect that time. In the pavilion the possesions of Atat�rk and the Sultans are exhibited, also.This building has two elegant foor. there is a drinking fountain covered with K�tahya tiles. And tere are plastered walls and wooden truss covered with thin lath in the pavilion, and information rooms and a garage. As a result of the restoration of the Sultan�s pavilion and social facilities are used as a museum today.
It is opposite to the Ottoman House Museum in place of Muradiye Madrasa. It is thought to be of a mansion belonging to the period of II. Murad. Twice with the same planned structure, it is in the garden. With an iwan opening to this hall,there are two rooms. Located upstairs in the room started by pen adorned with plants and flowers motif cabinets, wooden ceilings and ornate geometric hexagonal ceiling center maintains originality. It is known as the oldest surviving and most beautiful houses in Bursa, operating since 1989 as a museum building. In the Museum 17 century Ottoman home life is portrayed.
Called Watchmaker Pavilion, the buildin is among the examples of civil architecture of 19. cc. Between 1934 � 1949,it was used a Bursa Forest School, and then it was used as Forest District Office. in 1989 was opened to public as the Turkey�s first forestry specialized museum. In the museum, from the life of the forest sections, fauna and flora fossils, forest plants and cutting tools, maps and photos of space, on forest communication tools and coal mining in Orhaneli 16 million annual animal fossils are exhibited.
It is on the �ekirge street. Hacivat Karag�z Memorial and Museum Karag�z are mutual ly located on main Street. Adopted as the leader of the shadow game Sheikh Kuster and Karag�z and Hacivat memories of symbols are integrated in Bursa. Being Bursa�s oldest cemetery in the �ekirge street the tomb is thought to lodge in Yogurtlu baba, and tomb in 1950 was converted into a mausoleum. Karag�z and Hacivat is on concrete platform on a wide screen to a symbol ic rel ief of sculptures made from ti les. There are three gravestones behind the representation of the monument. Being Turkey�s only Karag�z museum, Karag�z shows are performed regularly. Karag�z figures from the private col lection of �el ikkol Sinasi with traditional puppet and shadow play figures col lected from various countries and the nomad vi l lage belonging to the Turkmen are exhibited.
The museum was built in 1475 near the north of the mosque Muradiye and it was opened at the poet Ahmet Pasa Madrasa. Cut stone and brick walls and a fountain in the courtyard knitted rectangle of the madrasa is located. Opposite to the entrance,there is a large overhang iwan covered with a dome. On the back porch of the vault covered with mirror over eleven rooms are available. Up to the year 1950, after a period of disrepair, it was used as Adult Education Center. The museum was opened to visit in 2004. Esat Uluamay is a founding member of Anatolian Folklore Foundation.He collected a collection from the various regions of Anatolia for 40 years and folk costumes and jewelry are on display. In the museum, Anatolia, Thrace and Rumeli compiled from authentic folk clothes, Ottoman traditional silver jewelry, rubbing of writing, titles, Bursa silk, coffee, horses and horse-riding culture of the people belonging to the culture of everyday thingsliving objects are exhibited. The tomb of the poet Ahmet Pasa Medrese is in the garden of madrasa.
To confirm the victory of the War of Independence,home was the point of signing of the Armistice Mudanya.The house was purchased by businessman Hayri Ipar and It was opened in 1937 as a museum. I was an example of 2-storey wooden Ottoman house built at the end of the 19th century. The house also has 13 rooms and 2 large rooms. On the first floor hall Ismet Inonu room who represented Turkey in the signing of the armistice negotiations. In the second floor bedrooms of Ismet Pasha and his aide are located. In the house period photos and documents that are exhibited.
It is in Tophane. Built in 1836 as a state guest house, it was used as the Russian Consulate. It is typical Ottoman house of the 19.cc. century, and it was restored by the artist H�sn� Zuber and was converted into a living museum. Processed with burning cautery Turkey wooden spoon and folkloric motifs and wood furnishings are on display.
It is Turkey�s first and only Anadolu Trolleys Museum. Total of 17,000 m�, including a field, in a former silk factory neighborhood Umurbey has been restored by Tofas. It was opened to visitors in 2002. In the museum, examples of cars dated back 2600 years in Anatolia, starting from the wheel vehicles, are exhibited in chronological order. Within a tumulus in Balikesir original car parts and wheel parts finds constitute the starting point of the museum. Selected from various provinces of Turkey brought together, carts, horses andox carts, ball carts, grass car, wood car, such as many car, panyolar, paddle, half esebey, since cars are exhibited, such as bri�ka. The 10 cars in the museum Tofas production are also included.
